Grey wagtail - North Bridge Leisure Centre!
Hello all, Surprised to first hear then see a grey wagtail in such an urban setting. However, Hebble Brook is nearby. Also report from w/e of 19/20 March of two red kites near Hugh Brown Knoll (Between Crimsworth Dean and Luddenden Dean).
grey wagtails are not uncommon in that area, at least 6 pairs between north bridge and salterhebble. dippers are doing well along the 'town section' of the hebble with 3 pairs at least.even grey heron can be seen just below nestles (if your up early) ive even seen a moorhen below north bridge
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
