Willow Tit
Just a note on Willow Tit there are upto 5 visiting a bird table on the hillside above slaithwaite less than a mile from scammonden, so scammonden is probably a good bet.
Is there any chance of you sending an email to the Huddersfield Bird Recorder (David Butterfield) at the following email address?: butterfieldd60@googlemail.com
Although Willow Tit is still regularly seen in certain localities in the Huddersfield Birding Area, if you have 5 visiting your bird feeders above Slaithwaite, it would appear that there must be a small population hanging on and even flourishing in an area that we (Huddersfield Birders) are not currently aware of.
I saw 2 Willow Tit at Scammonden on 23rd August last year and haven't come across them since or before at that location so your record of 5 in a hillside location nearby is really interesting.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
