GOOSANDER HAVE BRED AGAIN
Located female with 14 young this morning at 0845 , location details left with Nick D, Nick C and Dave S. Photos to follow.
Great stuff Mike and well done for tracking them down yet again, no doubt you will have a few sleepless nights worrying about the brood in the next few weeks!
This is getting to be an annual event, Mike - a great find, as usual. It ties in well with reports of a pair breeding just the other side of Cooper Bridge - marginally out of our area; probably the same birds that were seen at Anchor Pit Lock recently ?
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
