Saw a female Goosander checking chimney pots as possible nest-site on my way out this morning.

Went looking for Garganey today without any luck but did see at least 6 garden warblers,2 Reed warblers and many hirrundines.Just as I was watching a Garden warbler at very close quarters down by the river I herd a very unfamiliar sound ring ring 6 mountain bikers.I told them that they should not be next to the river and they had a very nice new road to go on.??They took no notice.Could we have some signs put up that this area is a LNR and not a new cycle track........Or is this new council policy...

Unless signs are erected to say it is a LNR people will treat it as an off road cycle area and a dog toilet space with no code of conduct that applies to anyone who goes thro the gates.I dont think there is a council policy.
