13th May Cold Edge
Brief visit to Cold Edge this PM produced 3 Dunlin, 1 Common Sandpiper, 4 Curlews, 3 Lapwing and 2 Willow Warblers. No sign of Whinchat but it may still be present despite the hillside being on fire !
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

I'm waiting for a photo of a Phalarope Nick !!
That will be the day, last Red Necked in Calderdale was 1964, although we just missed out on one in 1999, at Thornton Moor on 23rd May.
