No sign of the Gadwall or Chestnut Teal but plenty of other birds to wet the appetite inluded:

Buzzard and sparrowhawk about 12.30
Can't add much to that list Dave but a few more Cormorants(11)and a healthy mixed finch flock including 40 Goldfinch and 20 Redpolls. Good to finally get a Buzzard at Elland and to bump into Andy C. Called at High Royd as part of our Calderdale tour where we got excellent views of a Water Rail. Not a great deal of note anywhere else.
The Scaup was still there at 3pm along with 1 adult L B B Gull and 7Cormorants on the ski jump. 4 Siskin over.
