Fieldfare

A flock of about 200 Fieldfares flew over the house yesterday afternoon at about 15:00 in the direction of Withins Clough.

This morning a single bird was feeding on the apples in the garden.

Lovely picture Jeff.

Both Fieldfare and Redwing have moved into suburban areas in the last few days obviously due to the cold snap. 40 Fieldfare around today which is unusual as they are normally only seen in ones and twos as a garden record for me.
