Twite
I see there is a flock of 88 Twite at spurn(spurn website) are any of these our birds.???
I was doing a bird survey at the Welwick realignment site on the Humber Estuary on Friday 6th November and counted a record number of 75 Twite. The largest number I have seen since I started the survey in 2002.
One of the bird had colour rings. I have read it as:
Three colour seen on left leg - Red Above White Above Pink.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
