Ski Lake and Elland G P
Ski Lake 09.45. 2 Mute Swans,2 Little Grebe,2 Cormorant + Mallard and Coot. Tag Lock at 10.35 2 Willow Warbler and as one flew past me I caught the 2 White Storks heading in the direction of Brighouse so notified Nick C post haste. At 11.25 on the way back Swans still on lake and approx 20 Redpolls.

1 male Blackcap
8 Chiffchaff (7 singing, (1 presumably female issuing contact call to male nearby which was responding and singing)
1 Siskin over
1 Lesser Redpoll
No Willow Warbler singing or seen during my visit, oh and no White Stork for me today either!
It was very cool and misty early doors so not much moving.Storks did not look like landing but I got a photo of the Swans
