Harrier
A couple more of the harrier pictures posted at the request of Nick Dawtrey.
At the request of Nick D photos of this bird have been circulated widely around experienced birders, all who have replied to date agree this is a Monties Harrier.
This is a Monty. All the referenced id features are there and eliminate Hen - useful photos and videos, so well done to the observer for getting those. The first bit of video shows that falcon like form and flight which in my relatively limited experience of Monty is typical, this feature in my extensive experience of Hen would eliminate that species.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
