Chiffchaff
Colin Duke reports a chiffchaff at Elland Gravel Pits, lunchtime yesterday. Newt corner, lagoon 1.
Very Interesing a chiffy at this time of year.Did he hear it calll if so was it a typical call or did it sound a bit different. It could be a sibe chiffchaff? like the one a few years back. Was it olive or brown.?
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

I can try and find out from him. All I got was the record.
Colin had said the bird sounded very much like a 'standard' chiffy to him. He didn't see it.
