I've been neglecting my local patch, but I finally got round to having a look this morning.
25 Tufted Duck, mostly still in eclipse.
12 Canada Goose.
60+ Starling.
1 Lapwing.
I recall that small groups of Tufted Duck were quite common here in early autumn, but nothing like this number.
Incidentally, for anyone visiting this area, the road into Lumbutts village is again closed west of the Top Brink.
