Shrike

Apologies for posting this here, I was unsure where else to post. I think I've seen a Shrike at Dean Head reservoir, yesterday 7/4/15. Is this possible? It looked exactly like the one in the photos here and can't identify it as anything else

Thanks

Well done and many thanks for the posting. It's still there this morning at 10:30 (DT and DF)and guess a few local birders will be up there today!! Many thanks and thanks to Andy as well.

Shrike still there this afternoon until at least 3pm. Redfound by DF up the hill from the embankment on the NW side. It flew across to the SW hillside where we left it on telephone wires and field fences just near the farm. Well done Phil (good to meet you this afternoon) and Elizabeth for finding this bird and sorting a way to post it on the blog.

Apologies - we left it at 3 pm on the south hillside. Got it right eventually!!
