Ogden

This morning still at least 3 Tree Pipits singing as well as 2 Blackcaps, Willow Warblers and a Chiff-chaff.
1 Tawny Owl giving a good view but the highlight was 3 Crossbill feeding in a Scots Pine. They were very quiet but my attention was drawn to pine cones dropping onto the path. I expected a Grey Squirrel but was pleased it wasn't.
1 Blue Tit nest active with young being fed.
7 Curlew headed due south over Soil Hill.
