Excellent Dave. I checked at West Scout and Gaddings this morning but still no Wheatears ear abouts. Plenty of Mipits and Skylarks, but no Stonechats yet. They may have suffered through the bad spell, as there have usually been a few around at this time over recent years.

Hi Jeff - after last years 'glut' of wintering Stonechats I guess this winter has killed them off or maybe (hopefully) they moved off to France/Spain or even Ireland? I think these must be moving back now and hopefully stay around to breed again.
Today is the first day we have seen Meadow Pipits on the high ground singing/displaying although migrants are coming through too.
