Luddenden Dean Boxes

Many thanks to those who turned out this morning to erect 14 nestboxes in a wood in Luddenden Dean, primarily targetting Redstarts these boxes were made by Darrel and a friend of Mick Sharpe's. Thanks also to Nick Dawtrey who set the whole thing up by liasising with the landowner. Atendess were Gordon Denison, Steve Cummings, Sean Johnston, Darrel Prest and myself, hopefully there will be more photos to follow.

Sorry, couldn't make it to help, but went up there tonight to familiarise myself with the wood. Nice place, well done with the boxes. 2 Tawny Owls in there at 7pm, plus 2 Roe Deer.
