A few more Swifts about today across lunchtime and again mid afternoon with 20+ feeding low over trees in Shroggs Park. Encouraging !
Also BS had a good number over Mixenden Reservoir this afternoon

2 and sometimes 3 swifts over Green Park Estate, Skircoat Green, screaming in the evenings as if there is a nest. Never been here before! I've put up a tray in my garage where there is access under the eves. You never know!
I've posted a petition from Brian Leecy about Yorkshire Water and their vast holding of moorland which is largely let out for shooting. Over on Calderdale-wildlife.blogspot if anyone feels like signing it.
