Wainstalls and Castle Carr Road

An hour or so along the top this afternoon. Very dull and overcast with a brisk >SW. A few birds about, more than I'd expected.
A pair of Stonechats braving it out looking for food in the shelter of the stone walls.
2 Mistle Thrush
c60 Fieldfares, c30 Redwings and c30 Starlings in one flock pre dusk.
1 Little Owl
1 Wren scrabbling about in the gorze bushes.
2 Kestrel
1 Sparrowhawk
1 Common Buzzard - a very pale bird - rounded off the afternoon nicely !
