John Dale

Very sad to hear via social media that John Dale (Huddersfield Birdwatchers Club)  passed away just before Xmas, older Calderdale birders will remember John for his invaluable work both at a local level and also via the YNU. Details of the funeral are yet to be announced.

Thanks for the post, Nick. It's a long time since I saw John and had lost touch with him. I used to see him at Ringstone occasionally, but that must have been in the '80's. It' still very sad to lose a local 'birder' and our condolences to his family.
