Interesting one ...and not easy to assess the size of the bird - maybe a juvenile Grey Wagtail, though not often seen in bushes. Was it near a stream ? Pale around the eye and a pale throat and blue/grey colour on the back with a pale wing-bar showing !
Apparently the bird was bigger than a blackbird, and the buffish colouring was true to the bird, so I'm not sure it is a grey wagtail, but I can't think of anything better!
Ive only had a brief look a matter of seconds before my net went down but it looked like a first winter Grey Wagtail to me. Will have another look when Im up and running again.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Yes it was next to the calder by the Stubbing Wharf. It was around 20 feet up

Female redstart for me, size aside. A mate of mine took a very similar image recently. Can't add the photo as a comment though.
