6th May

11 species of wader recorded today in Calderdale. 1 Knot still at Lower Gorple, 4 Dunlin at Lighthazzles including this possible alpina bird on the left.

A very scarce bird in Calderdale especially over recent years. Great to see the Knot in summer plumage.
