Wheatley Valley

I spent an hour or so checking out the former landfill site alongside Shroggs Road, between there and Brackenbed. 2 dominant habitats - wet grassland and young woodland maturing quickly.
5 species of warbler well in evidence with singing males 5+  Blackcap, 4 Chiffchaffs, 3+ Willow Warbler, 4 Whitethroat and 1 Garden Warbler.
