Skein of pink feet over an upland moor site, just to the north, 12 golden plover heading west over the moor and a mountain hare....sadly about a hundred yards south of the area.

Nice one. Years since I found a Mountain Hare in Calderdale Chris but it would be nice to see one again.
Where was the hare Chris ? I think I'm right in saying the Calderdale boundary runs along the top of Waystone Edge. I met the sheep farmer up there once and asked him if he saw them. He said yes, sometimes, but there's a lot more over on Cupwith Hill. He may have been trying to get me off his land.
