Presumably that's because the goldfinch had its mouth full 😀 Robin first bird heard during early morning visit to the bathroom, goldfinch first seen also with its mouth full.
Blackbird in the garden was my first for 2017
Dunno know and Robin for me.
That should have been ...Dunnock !
House Sparrow calling and Woodpigeon on the bird table....Also saw Magpie carrying nesting material....??
House Sparrows in the garden - very welcome, they were absent for a couple of decades !
First heard was blackbird.
First seen was a flock of 35 waxwings right outside our front window in Walsden. So lucky!
Pink feet, heard and saw (arrived early, in darkness, to Marshside, Southport).
