Murmuration of Starlings
Has anyone seen the murmuration that's happening at dusk in Brighouse ? Someone (he works for the Environment Agency) says they are doing it there, attracting the gaze of shoppers.
Thanks Fran. Simon Day also confirms it, but it's not a massive one like Martin Mere or anything. As a matter of interest there is a round-up of the biggest Murmurations in the UK on Birdguides. It's a free online magazine.
The one at Brighouse has developed into many thousands of starlings. We saw them on Saturday 7th Feb. They weave there strange shapes over the town centre and go to roost in some large holly trees in Atlas Mill Rd.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Any idea exactly where? Or is it just over town centre?
Nearest I've seen was the far side of Huddersfield, Steve.
Will keep an eye out for it.
By the Golden Hind fish shop.
