Along Ringby Lane this afternoon. In the field opposite the big metal fence/gate there were 13 Linnets and 13 Skylarks - in with the multitude of corvids !
Several immaculate looking Lesser Black-backed Gulls loafing around the site along with 8 Common Gulls and 11 Stock Doves together
11 Herring Gulls in one group >NW
1 Sparrowhawk in the distant, in display mode over towards Shelf Moor

Sounds to be improving up there.
Good to see Herring gulls on the move
4 Grey Partridge are in same field at Tabor every day at the moment. Lapwing in display flight behind house alongside the Skylarks this morning was encouraging.
Linnets must be due on Soil Hill soon Dave?
