I started off this morning checking some local Rookeries but the mist took some time to clear.
1 male Blackcap singing and seen at Luddenden Foot along with several Chiff-Chaff's alongside the river Calder and the railway line. Also Grey Wagtail and Great-spotted Woodpecker.

4 Goldeneye (1 drake)
4 Goosander (1drake)
Lots of mipits on territory but little sign of any 'movers' and a scattering of Pied Wagtails. Also nearby were 4 Curlew and some Snipe were 'drumming'
6 Fieldfare in the plantation
3 unid large gulls over high >SE
1 BH Gull >W
Also a Chiff-chaff singing in the Res'r cottage shrubbery. By then the mist had cleared and the temperature rising nicely.
