Along Ringby Lane and the top late morning
I just missed out on c200 Pink-feet heading west over the Wheatley Valley around 11.20 from Steve B as I was over the other side of the hill - dash!

9 Pied Wagtail >W
7 Chaffinch and 2 unidentified finch sp >SW
And on the top - no sign of the Linnet flock today

Good that you gave it a go Dave, shame about the Pinkies but good to know they are still moving around as they,ve been quiet for a while.
Didn't see any sign of the Shelf Moor Lapwing flock today. I usually see them flying around there at a distance. I guess they are still there and probably stay awhile until the weather gets cold !
