Ogden Garden
There has been a male reed bunting on the cotneaster in our garden on each of the last two days.
That sounds interesting. Is it feeding on the berries or perhaps the insects in the shrub? In BWP it says feeds on seeds, plant material and invertebrates. They do seem to be coming more regularly to garden feeders or feeding under them in winter - still looking out for one in our garden yet!
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

It was not eating from the feeders and the blackbirds have eaten all the berries. Perhaps it was just looking to see what was about.
