Also There...
Glad to have my tentative id of 2 Sutcliffes (one carrying food) confirmed. A pair of Curlew with three juvs near the road. I missed your Little Owl, David, but there was one below at Lumb Terrace and this one on Castle Carr Road.
Nice one Denise - sorry we missed you - hope to catch up with you sometime soon. By the way I spoke with David tonight as well - so I got an interesting update from Finland etc!
We keep putting the Niger down but not looking good this year for Twite - only just hanging on. Nigel had 4 the other day though.
Pleased to see from the photo's that you caught up with the Curlew chicks, Denise - we couldn't find the chicks anywhere but by the sound of the adults they have done well this year.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Yep, well done with the ID Denise, definite Sutcliffes, a pair exhibiting classic "fed up of waiting" display, common in long standing pairs.

Like how Jen carries the bags whilst Dave does the watching.
Not managed to get Jen to carry the scope yet Bri !!
Where abouts was this?!
Fly Flatts Res'r (or on OS maps Warley Moor Res'r)!
