A walk over t'moor did not produce a wheatear as hoped.
Plenty skylarks, mipits, 2 curlew, 1 lapwing, Golden plover,1 snipe
and at last, 3 swallows.

A drastic shortage of Wheatears this year so far, had none on Soil Hill, Ogden moor, Ovenden moor and Fly Flatts.
Apart from one or two early ones they have been in short supply. Must be anytime now Bruce!
