I've still not seen a yellowhammer anywhere this year and am thinking about going to either Hartshead and/or Bradley Hall Farm on Saturday. Alas I don't know these areas at all, in fact I don't even know where Bradley Hall Farm is. Could someone please give me any directions/assistance in locating yellowhammers at either of these two places?

Hope you found the main colony at Bradley Hall. Another site at Hartshead is just below the village on the route of the Kirklees Way - at the back of Kirklees Hall, walking down to the Thrre Nuns pub.
