i had 3 crossbill at back lane but they flew to main plantation this aft. These are my first in Calderdale. Waited an hour but they didnt return. Superb female sparrowhawk displayed v close. Thanks to DJS for excellent directions. Great pics nick i think you could only describe my best as a record shot! I wouldnt dare post the silhouette.
Pleased you got them - special birds not always around in Calderdale!
