Andy's Eastern Jackdaw

here's a few photo's of Andy eastern Jackdaw, I for one am happy that this is the eastern sub-species C m soemmerringii.

A distinctive bird even in flight, unfortunatley the photo's are heavily cropped and enlarged as it was a bit distant but they do illustrate the relevant features , nice one Andy

Basically this bird seems to be a good candidate to be a “Russian Jackdaw” (ssp. soemeringii) but is it impossible to rule out intergrades with monedula or even perhaps an extreme monedula from the eastern part of that subspecies range? it is considered a very rare winter visitor in the Netherlands so is likely to occur in Britain albeit not very often. On the other hand it could be a local Jackdaw with a white collar as all corvids can show some albenistic characteristics. It certainly stands out in the crowd.
