This is an important result but ultimately my view is that the land managers and owners should be held legally accountable for any wildlife crimes that are committed by their staff, as is the case in Scotland. Please give consideration to signing the following petition to help make this happen

Good news but I agree that the landowners should be made responsible. that's the only way we'll make headway into the real issue.
....but would vicarious liability extend to everybody shooting on the land. On rough shoots, the visiting shooters are left to their own devices....i.e. not under any supervision. This is probably how visiting Maltese poachers are able to shoot non-legitimate quarry species, as has happened recently.
