Shibden Valley (yesterday)

Late morning Friday 7th October
2 House Martins still present in the valley viewed from 150 meters along Hag Lane at the back of the Ski slope.
1 Crossbill over SW as well as Meadow Pipits, Chaffinch's and 2 Skylarks on the move
1 Sparrowhawk
60 Woodpigeon
Blackbirds and Mistle Thrushes have been more in evidence these last few weeks so these are probably some of the early immigrants
Rooks were carrying lots of acorns
