Lee Mount surprises
A male Great-spotted Woodpecker and at least 2 Nuthatches today on the garden feeders. Both were surprises. The Great Spot did not give me chance to focus before it was off but the Nuthatches were more obliging and kept coming back for the rest of the day.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Great stuff, I think you,re in competition with Denise for garden of the year.
The two nuthatches are additions to 3 others I have seen or heard, and one other I was told about.
Looks like there has been an influx into Halifax - these were not present all summer.
Or maybe they have just moved from woodland areas into gardens?
