Just dropped my car off at a garage at Lydgate, and noticed around a dozen House Martins feeding over Burnley Road, including one visiting a nest under the eaves of the Post Office.
Also a group of six feeding over Wellington Road area of Todmorden centre,

Hi Phil
the only street I know they (used to ) nest in Todmorden is not far from there - Nutfield Street off Victoria Rd. I used to visit a friend there in the early 2000's.
Strangely, there were never any nests in neighbouring streets.
A couple of swift pairs also nested on the top side of Nutfield St., going in mid-roof, under loose slates. These may been repaired by now.
