Ferruginous duck???
Report on Birdguides 1:05pm of a ferruginous duck at Ryburn Reservoir. Watch this space. This would only be the second ever record in Calderdale, the last being 1947.
went with NCD to have a look at 3.30..2 Tufted Duck,5 Mallard,2 Moorhen,1 cormorant, lots of crests and a very impressive Jackdaw,Rook and carrion crow roost numbering upto 700+ birds.May be worth a look tomorrow morning as light was very poor and fading fast when we got there.........
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,
