'Hammers at Hartshead

Monday pm between Hartshead and Kirklees Hall:
4 male Yellowhammers calling from various hedgerows, right on the border of our area.
Merlin seen in the same spot last week.
Buzzard watched for 30 mins over the estate woodland, circling, calling and landing in trees near Robin Hood's Grave (allegedly !).
Kestrel hunting over farmland.
Pheasant calling.
And a huge hare just a fields' length away - first I've seen for a few years.
