Callis Bridge area - 3pm

Had a walk down by the sewage works in the vain hope of an early hirundine. No luck.

On the Calder - 2 grey wagtails, 1 dipper
On the sewage beds - 68+ pied wagtails, 4 grey wagtails, 32 meadow pipits
2 raven over Erringden, curlew and skylark heard but not seen. No sign of wheatear as yet.
No sign of little owl in the usual spot at Burnt Acres.
