Luddenden Dean

Jerusalem Farm area and up the dean to Castle Carr, Lower Lodge this afternoon and back to Wainstalls.

1 male Sparrowhawk and 1 Little Owl but no Kestrels today.

Lots of thrushes scattered about the dean including just over 200 Fieldfares and c80 Redwings going to roost in Castle Carr along with c75 woodpigeons. Several tit flocks including one with 20 + L T Tits in with Coal, Blue and Gt Tits, Treecreeper and Goldcrests. Also Green and Gt Spotted Woodpeckers and quite a few finches going over high towards Castle Carr at dusk.
