Area between the Lower Lodge and Jerusalem Farm this afternoon.
1 Cuckoo, 3 Green Woodpeckers, c6 Kestrels, 1f Sparrowhawk, several Willow Warblers, one Blackcap and a Dipper.

Also a male Whinchat on Castle Carr Road just past Bridge Terrace at Wainstalls and 3 Twite further along the road ands nearby 2 Grey Partridge.

Also no sign of Dotterell at High Brown Knoll on the area they appeared last year - been up there 5 times in last two weeks but nothing doing! Curlew and Golden Plover nearby and Dunlin in full song on Wednesday 10th.
