Elland Gravel Pits
Not much about really, 12 Cormorants on Ski lake, 5 Bullfinch, 1 Reed Bunting, small numbers of Blue tit, Great tit, Long Tailed tit, 10 Goosander on the River and 1, possibly 2 Little Grebe and 1 very charming Robin.
Not only the largest at EGP but Calderdale as well.Great record.what you need is the report 'Birdwatching at Cromwell Bottom'.its a great spot and definatly underwatched
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

You say not much about but 12 Cormorants is the largest count here ever.the previous highest was 11 flying over on 15th Jan 1997.Nice one.
