Pied fly anyone?
I know the season isn't over, but has anyone seen any pied flycatchers in Calderdale this year? We have one record of a female at the Crags, but I'm not aware of any more sightings??? Let me know if you know different
I did a check, though I'm not sure I'd call it a thorough one! There was nothing but tits in the ones I saw being occupied. There one was right by where the female pied fly was seen that had been damaged and predated by a woodpecker.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Don't know of any I'm afraid Matt, did anyone get to do a thorough check of the nest boxes we put up?

Graham also checked some of the boxes (not sure exactly which ones) with similar results. Ah well maybe next year!
