Widdop rd Common

Unconfirmed report of Short eared Owl hunting on the common and in fields between Widdop Rd and Hardcastle Crags. If confirmed this will be the first sighting I know of in approx. 14 years. Sighting reported by my father who lives at Stoneshay gate. Only just reported hope to get up tomorrow to check it out, will let you all know. If anyone knows of more recent sightings please do let me know.
