Crimsworth Dean
I was just driving on the Haworth to Hebden Road (7:00pm) and a c. buzzard passed over the car at about 200 feet. It came from where the dotterels were and flew over Crimsworth Dean, possibly heading for Walshaw.
Matt any chance this could be the same bird I saw upon Widdop Rd and you saw up Crimsworth approx a week prior to my sighting?? What are the chances? How many did you record last year in the area?
Highly possible Andy. As far as how many were seen last year, I'm not sure myself. As you know, there's nowhere near as many as there should be in this kind of habitat.
Copies are available at £6.00 each from the GO local store at Woodlesford, Pellon price . Hopefully they will also be available at the Fox and Goose Hebden Bridge ,

Nick Dawtrey is currently compiling last years annual report, he should be able to help with this one.
