Hardcastle Crags

We had a walk, chancing the drizzle, yesterday afternoon and managed to find one of the recent Wood Warblers still singing in woodland between Midgehole car park and Gibson Mill. Also a single Spotted Flycatcher and a few Blackcaps singing.
A good show of Song Thrushes - they like that area
Green Woodpwecker
Great Spotted Woodpecker feeding young in a nest hole
A few Swifts and Swallows
