Fly Flatts

Spent most of the morning there along with Alan T for part of the time. 2 Barnacle Geese still there this morning. Plenty Canada Geese with chicks and 2 pairs of Greylag Geese with 3 and another with 4 chicks.

Water level just down a little giving some shoreline thereby attracting 8 wader sp..today including 2 Dunlin.
9 Herring Gulls headed off >E with 2 more later on included one adult
Several L B B Gulls loafing over the moor
1 Pied Wagtail
2 Swallows >N
5 Wheatears
1 Common Buzzard >E
1 Kestrel
1 Reed Bunting
Very few Meadow Pipits about today !
Some Nyger seed put down at the former Twite feeding area. Just on the off chance we are fortunate to get some back this summer !!

Glad you got on the Dunlin Dave. The Barnacles must head back to Cold Edge as they are never there on an evening.
Thanks for the help with the Nyger Dave. Theres evidence of Canadas taking it so I,ve been spreading it out a bit more. We,ve got to get Twite this year.

They were on the moor early on driving off Canadas but I can't think they've got eggs otherwise they wouldn't have legged it to the Res'r then, like you say Cold Edge.
