Mixenden Res'r and Soil Hill

Nothing at all on Mixenden mid afternoon other than c60 B H Gulls.

Soil Hill fared marginally better but the wind up there was up to it's normal speed !!

I just got back to the car and rounded the afternoon off nicely with 2 small flocks of 'pinkies' high over Bradshaw heading towards Ogden/Fly Flats around 15:15 - they were getting blown about but made good headway all the same.
From photo's the first group was 19 strong and the second group 16

Nice one with the 'Pinkies' photos Dave.
Good to get Fieldfare back on Taylor Lane fields.
(I bet it was COOL on Soil Hill?).

I photographed 35 Pinkies as they crossed Withens Road near Nolstar heading west, at 15.17, they were struggling in the wind and almost touched down but managed to make height and continued west. Anthony

Nice one Anthony - they must have been the same lot. Nice when it comes together like that !
